Jack D. Ripper bested Christopher Bauman in the race for district judge in Southeastern Magisterial District 50-3-03, winning both the Democratic and Reublican party nominations, according to unofficial primary election results.
Assistant Public Defender Maura Palumbi won the Republican and Democratic party nominations over Assistant District Attorney Terri Schultz, who also cross-filed for both nominations, for the judge’s seat, according to unofficial results from Tuesday’s primary.
Incumbent county commissioners Leslie Osche and Kim Geyer overcame challenges from three candidates to win Republican party nominations, according to incomplete and unofficial results from Tuesday’s primary.
In a hard-fought race, incumbent Karen Newpol has won the open four-year term for Cranberry Township board of supervisors, according to unofficial results from Tuesday’s primary.
