John T. Janicki

John T. “Jack” Janicki, 80, of Butler passed away on Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.

He was born Aug. 6, 1941, in Butler, and was the son of the late Theodore and Helen (Namesnick) Janicki.

John “JJ” retired from Armco after 43 years of employment.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and crossword puzzles. John also judged and competed in field trials with his Labrador retrievers.

Above all else, he enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren.

John was the loving husband of Barbara (Simmers) Janicki, since their marriage in 1960; the father of John “Jack” (Joyce) Janicki and Jackie (Miguel) Cuadros; the grandfather of Sarah, John Paul (Liz), Michaela and Michael; and the great-grandfather to Alina.

JANICKI — All services and burial for John T. “Jack” Janicki, who died Monday, Sept. 20, 2021, will be held privately.
