Lewis Nazaruk
Lewis Nazaruk, 74, of 1109 Sunmine Road, Sarver, died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday at the Fair Winds Manor Nursing Home after a seven-month illness.
Born Sept. 30, 1930, in Clinton Township, he was the son of Konrad and Matryna Mary Heidachuck Nazaruk.
He attended Anderson School in Clinton Township and West Winfield High School.
He enjoyed watching baseball and softball, gardening, horseshoes, hunting, fishing and taking scenic drives.
He was a life member of the Outdoor Life Lodge, Fawn Township.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Katheryn Nazaruk at home; two daughters, Robin Lynn Nazaruk at home and Linda Lee Sopko (Richard) of Lower Burrell; a grandson, Richard Michael Sopko of Lower Burrell; a granddaughter, Kelci Lynn Sopko of Lower Burrell; and a brother, Mike (Peggy Margaret) Nazaruk of Butler.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Loik, Pauline Nazaruk and Nellie Dobson; and three brothers, Stanley, Raymond and John Nazaruk.
NAZARUK - The family of Lewis Nazaruk, who died Sunday, July 17, 2005, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at the KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME, 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Lesseski officiating.Burial will be at Mount Airy Cemetery in Harrison Township.
