Warren Hartmann

Warren Hartmann, 92, of Saxonburg passed away Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Jan. 30, 1923, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Clemence Hartmann and Paula (Becker) Hartmann.

Warren was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in World War II as a corporal in the 1318th Service Command United from March 17, 1943, until March 1, 1946.

He was a Pennsylvania state tax auditor.

Warren was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where he served in the office of the high priest and held many positions of church service throughout the years. He enjoyed golf, mechanical work, accounting and gardening.

Surviving are his sons, Ronald (Debra) Hartmann of Alamosa, Colo., Douglas (Barbara) Hartmann of Kemmerer, Wyo., Robert (Patricia) Hartmann of Fullerton, Calif., and Larry (Renee) Hartmann of Trabuco Canyon, Calif.; his daughter, Paula (Richard) Vandame of Richardsville, Va.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte (Warwick) Hartmann, and his sister, Yvonne Dickens.

HARTMANN — Friends of Warren Hartmann, who died Monday, March 30, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Bishop George Rosenberg officiating.Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.For more information, visit www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
