Jenny

John F. Jenny, 87, of Cabot died Wednesday at UPMC St. Margaret hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Feb. 5, 1920, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Frederick G. and Olive M. Brown Jenny.

He served as a first lieutenant in the Army Signal Corps during World War II and the Korean War.

Mr. Jenny retired in 1982 as a director of personnel for Bell of Pennsylvania.

He was a member of Gospel Fellowship Presbyterian Church, Valencia.

He enjoyed photography and was a member of the New Castle Camera Club. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Surviving are his wife, Betty F. Lesher Jenny, whom he married Nov. 22, 1941; two sons, Frederick J. Jenny of Grove City and Daniel M. Jenny of Gibsonia; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Karen) Schwab of Gibsonia; a sister, Cora Jean Cole of Youngstown, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

<B>JENNY</B> — Friends of John F. Jenny, who died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Nick Protos officiating.
