Suzanne King
Suzanne King, 89, of Butler passed away Friday at 3:40 a.m. at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born March 1, 1923, in Butler to the late Frank Halahurich and Anna Lenko Halahurich.
Mrs. King was a former member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church. She worked at the Spade Shirt Factory. Mrs. King enjoyed cooking, sewing and baking. She graduated from Butler High School.
Mrs. King is survived by three sons, Robert King and his wife, Barbara, James King and his wife, Deborah, and Frank David King and his wife, Karen, all of Butler; one daughter, Suzanne Swartout of Butler; two granddaughters; four grandsons; four great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; four nephews; and four nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Robert King, who she married on April 2, 1945, and who passed away on Jan. 8, 2011; one brother, Michael Halahurich; and three sisters, Mary Michalec, Ann Nye and Dorothy Lepionka.
KING — At the request of Suzanne King, who died Friday, June 22, 2012, visitation and funeral services will be private.
