12:37 p.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Virgina L. Roberts, 79, of Ford City and Joann L. Collins, 60, of Summit Township collided at Fairground Hill Road and Hansen Avenue.

Wednesday — Vehicles driven by Cole Birch, 16, and Amanda Kassi, 37, both of Grove City, collided on West Main Street near the entrance of the Country Fair market. Police cited Birch for making an improper left turn.

3:15 p.m. Tuesday — Two riders on a motorcycle were hurt when their 2008 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic fishtailed and crashed on Route 422 at Michaels restaurant in Franklin Township.Donald A. Shoemaker, 51, of Fenelton, the driver, and his passenger, Dee A. Cross, 48, of Butler, were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries; neither was wearing a helmet.Shoemaker was cited for careless driving.Friday — A burglar made off with numerous unspecified items after breaking into a home on Connoquenessing Drive in Connoquenessing Township. The burglary happened between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Monday — More than $900 worth of items including $675 in archery hunting equipment was stolen in a burglary at a Butler man's home on Paraski Road in Bradys Bend Township. Among the items taken were a compound bow, long bow, two child bows, archery accessories, an air compressor and tools. The break-in happened between Aug. 18 and Monday.

1:03 a.m. Sept. 1 — John Petruzelli, no age given, of Mars was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 358 near Route 19 in Perry Township.4:58 p.m. Aug. 21 — A car driven by Angelo Dilullo, 71, of Lafayette, Colo., rear-ended a truck on Interstate 80 in Pine Township. Dilullo was cited for careless driving. Enis Mahmutovic, 32, of Grand Rapids, Mich., was driving the truck.
