Walter J. Anderson
Walter J. "Trigger" Anderson, 85, of Sarver went to be with the Lord on Sunday at his home.
Born Feb. 26, 1923, in Indianola, he was the son of Joseph and Elsie McCorkle Anderson.
He served in the Army during WWII, and he was a self-employed contractor and the developer of Buffalo Estates.
He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sarver, the Saxonburg American Legion Post 683 and the Coachman Camper Club.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Wonderly Anderson, who he married on March 17, 1944; his daughter, Dana McCoy and her husband, Mark, of Sarver; his brother, Bert Anderson and his wife, Joyce of Lansing, Mich.; his sister, Martha Greger and her husband,Donald, of Saxonburg; his granddaughters, Alise Wright, Laura Cooksey and Megan Wright; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his stepmother, Mae Anderson; three brothers, and four sisters.

Anderson, who died Sunday, May 18, 2008, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver with the Rev. Emery Barnett officiating.
