Daisy Gerard, 85, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024.

She was born in Woolwich, United Kingdom, on Aug. 17, 1939, to the late John and Margaret (Walker) Scott.

Daisy taught ceramics at Bert Holmes for many years and enjoyed sharing her talent with students. She was an avid gardener. Her greatest accomplishment was her family, into whom she invested all her love.

Daisy was the beloved wife of the late Paul “Rich” Gerard, whom she married Sept. 5, 1957; mother of Mary Ann (Robert) Sutton, Margaret “Susan” Holt, David (Regina) Gerard, Jaqueline (Patrick) Kingsley, Tina Purvis and Michele (Jay) Hoshak, and her grandson, whom she raised, Daniel Gerard; sister of David Scott; and grandmother to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Daisy was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Scott; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and her son-in-law.

GERARD — All services for Daisy Gerard, who died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

Burial will be held privately at Rose Hill Cemetery.
