End state's liquor role
It is interesting that when threatened with the dismantling of its coercive monopoly, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board offered up some reforms that would seek to meet market demand and “modernize.”
However, the fact that these changes require legislative approval before being enacted belies how wrong the current system is.
Government should have no role in alcohol sales whatsoever, and its involvement violates the rights of those who are prevented from entering the market.
This socialist scheme has existed for too long.
