The death of Dr. Jack Kevorkian, a heroic and pioneering physician, is a loss for the medical community and the entire nation.
Kevorkian’s intransigent defense of a person’s right to his or her own life was exemplary, and his efforts in the face of tyrannical government persecution are testament to his benevolence toward terminally ill patients.
