Former Miss Pa. lauded

Three cheers for former Miss Pennsylvania USA Sheena Monnin of Cranberry Township.
In a day and age when many of our leaders show a lack of moral courage, it is refreshing to see someone of conscience with the courage to uphold high standards.
In today's culture, where the concept of right and wrong has been blurred, or even eradicated, it is so easy to follow the pack and act only in one's self-interest.
We live in a society that, over the years, has been a transition from acting in good faith to acting in bad faith.
What made America great were our standards of justice and good citizenship. Today's goals of self-centered materialism have eroded our national spirit.
I wish to thank Sheena for making me proud to be a Pennsylvanian.
