2:53 p.m. Wednesday — Scott Locke, 43, of Butler was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property after allegedly attempting to steal $339 worth of merchandise from Walmart at Butler Commons.

12 p.m. April 1 — An unknown vehicle fled after it struck a wooden split-rail fence and a utility pole along Herman Road in Clearfield Township.

5:58 a.m. Friday — A number of deer caused Brian D. Altman, 22, of Rimersburg to crash his car along Route 368 in Perry Township, Clarion County.Altman was driving west when he saw the deer in the westbound lane. Altman attempted to avoid them by steering into the left lane, but struck a deer before driving off the side of the road.Altman's car struck a dirt embankment, causing it to roll onto its passenger side before coming to rest on its roof.

6 p.m. Tuesday — Someone entered a dormitory room in Memorial Hall at Grove City College and stole $200 in cash. The suspect also dumped ketchup onto a computer, causing about $1,900 in damage.5 p.m. Tuesday — A vehicle was keyed while in the parking lot along the 600 block of West Main Street.1:20 p.m. Feb. 26 — Someone broke into the Grove City High School football concession stand and vandalized property sometime within two weeks of the complaint.Police said it appears they entered through one of the service roll-up doors.Anyone with information is asked to call Grove City Police at 724-458-7925.
