Murphy 50th anniversary
Daniel and Joan Murphy of Beaver, formerly of Butler, celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family vacation at Deep Creek, Md. They also will celebrate with a family dinner at Shakespeare’s Restaurant.
Murphy married the former Joan Shultz on April 3, 1964, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have three children, Laura (David) Crimm of Sewickley, Lisa (Mark) Hopkins of Patterson Township, Beaver County, and Linda (Stephen) Steele of Chippewa Township, Beaver County.
They also have seven grandchildren.
Murphy is retired. He enjoys fishing with his grandchildren and spending time with his family.

The Murphys are members of St. Monica Parish.
