Butler County Treasurer Diane Marburger reminds residents in Butler, Callery, Valencia and West Sunbury that the final day for them to pay 2014 county property taxes at the discount rate is April 30.

Any tax payments paid in person at the treasurer’s office by April 30 or postmarked by April 30 will be honored at the discount tax amount.

The treasurer’s office, which is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is on the first floor of the Butler County Government Center, 124 W. Diamond St.

Payments may be made online by visiting the county website at www.co.butler.pa.us and clicking on the “pay taxes” link.

Mailed tax payments should be sent to: Butler County Treasurer, P.O. Box 1208, Butler, PA 16003.

County real estate taxes received after April 30 in the discount amount will be returned to the sender.
