McCord reports $333K in 2012 income

HARRISBURG — Rob McCord, a Democratic candidate for governor who loaned his campaign $1.7 million, reported $333,500 in income in 2012.

McCord, Pennsylvania’s elected state treasurer, released just two pages of his 2012 tax return after seeking an extension for 2013. The Associated Press asked each gubernatorial candidate last week to release their entire tax return for 2013, or 2012 if they sought an extension.

Democrats Allyson Schwartz and Katie McGinty each released entire 2012 returns, while Tom Wolf released just two pages of his 2012 return and allowed reporters to view the rest. Republican Gov. Tom Corbett hasn’t released his and Republican Bob Guzzardi is declining.

In 2012, McCord reported $31,500 in taxes and $142,000 in deductions and exemptions. Income included $117,000 in salary, $51,000 in dividends and $150,000 in capital gains.
