Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 W. Main St., rear, Saxonburg, hosts its fifth annual Invitational High School Art Students Exhibit through May 3. Participating schools include Knoch, Freeport, Deer Lakes, Highlands, Saint Joseph and Valley. This year the cooperative awarded $1,000 in Excellence in Art Awards to four high school seniors: Becky Korff, Knoch; Katie McDough, Highlands; Kaitlin Smith, St. Joseph's; and Brenda Varela-Santiesteban, Valley. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., is marking its 10th anniversary in 2014. The Maridon is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Red Brick Gallery, 17 Main St., Foxburg, is reopening for the 2014 season.
