Fleeger

Betty Marie (Kridler) Fleeger, 81, of the Arbors at St. Barnabas in Adams Township, formerly of Cranberry Township, passed away Sunday.

Born May 20, 1933, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Grace Kridler.

Betty was a longtime faithful and founding member of Bible Baptist Church, where she spent several years as a Sunday school teacher.

After many years of dedicated service, she retired from Passavant Retirement Community as a nurse’s aid. Betty also worked at Cranberry Township Senior Center, where she volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She also enjoyed the time spent with her Silver Sneakers Group at the senior center.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her four children, Robert W. Fleeger of Cabot, Nancy L. Barhite and her husband, Charles, of Hampton, Va., Brenda K. Bordas and her husband, Paul, of West Sunbury, and Barbara A. Garing and her husband, Clay, of Evans City; her brother, Samuel Kridler of Leechburg; her nine grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles D. Fleeger, who passed away Jan. 3, 2001; her two daughters, Victoria Fleeger and Linda Fleeger; and her three sisters.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Stamp officiating.
