7:10 p.m. Saturday — Joshua A. Hakeem, 28, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting a cell phone and earrings at the Kmart at Pullman Square. The merchandise is valued at a combined $145. Hakeem faces a charges of retail theft.8:17 p.m. Friday — Floyd E. Pisor, 44, of Boyers was arrested after being pulled into the station for being drunk at the Butler Downtown Music Plaza in the 100 block of West New Castle Street.Pisor at the station acted up, kicking a shoe at one officer and squaring up to another one, according to a police report. The officers took the suspect to the floor. He suffered a minor cut to the face during the altercation and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.But at the hospital, the report said, Pisor continued his unruly behavior, including cursing at several nurses. He received two or so stitches for his wound and was later taken to Butler County Prison on charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.4:40 p.m. Tuesday — One person was hurt when cars driven by Kayla M. Guthrie, 25, of Lyndora and Ryan S. Taylor, 18, of Butler collided at Hansen Avenue and Pillow Street. Taylor, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.7:55 p.m. July 2 — A car driven by David J. Gall, 67, of Butler struck two vehicles that were parked on the side of West New Castle Street. Gall, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Gall told police that the accident happened when he steered far to the right side of the road to avoid another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.

5:43 p.m. Sunday — Devin Melanson, no age given, of East Brady was hurt when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle and crashed into a ditch on Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township.3:26 p.m. Sunday — Harry R. Brake, 58, of Cabot lost control of his car after hydroplaning in the pouring rain and struck a guardrail wire on Route 28 in Harrison Township. Police said Brake was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.5 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Janice McGregor, 19, of Ford City struck an embankment and ditch on Spruce Hollow Road in Bethel Township. Police said she left the crash before troopers got there.Police said they cited McGregor for failing to immediately notify authorities of an accident, careless driving and a lane violation.3:14 p.m. Saturday — A 37-year-old Ford City man, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he lost control of his car and crashed into an embankment on Route 422 in Manor Township.12:18 a.m. Saturday — Melanie S. Smith, 42, of Ford City was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 85 in Valley Township.

2:40 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Matthew J. Hite, 21, of Kennderdell and Ericka R. Wilson, 18, of Grove City collided on Route 58 just west of Ivan Drive in Pine Township, Mercer County.
