A. Fay Westlake

A. Fay Edwards Westlake, 81, of Slippery Rock passed away Thursday at the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Fay was born March 11, 1933, in New York City. She was the daughter of the late Edna Maud and Rozelle DeWitte Edwards. She was formerly married to John “Jack” Westlake.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Fay was an avid reader and enjoyed flea markets, various crafts, especially crocheting and jewelry making and spending time with her many cats.

Fay is survived by her nieces, Linda Edwards, Joy Dodd and Holly Snyder; her nephew, Steve Schupp; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Marion Elaine Edwards and Audrey Rose Snyder; and one nephew, Ralph Lester Schupp.

WESTLAKE — As per the request of A. Fay Edwards Westlake, who died Thursday, July 24, 2014, there will be no services.If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Butler VNA Inpatient Hospice, 115 Technology Drive, Butler, PA 16001 or to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Arrangements have been entrusted to the William F.
