William “Bill” and Kay Barnhart

William “Bill” and Kay Dawn Barnhart of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with a luncheon for family and friends at the Chicora Fire Hall.

Barnhart married the former Kay Dawn Bartoe on Sept. 18, 1964, at Martinsburg Presbyterian Church in Bruin.

The Barnharts have four children and eight grandchildren.

Barnhart was in the U.S. Army National Guard. He retired from Armco after 34 years.

Mrs. Barnhart is a housewife and mother.

The couple enjoys auctions and flea markets. Barnhart enjoys hunting. Mrs. Barnhart’s hobbies are photography and scrapbooking. They especially enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
