Election Day tradition continues

SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock Rotary Club has been serving pancakes and sausage on Election Day for more than 50 years and will continue again this Election Day.

The club will serve an all-you-can-eat meal of pancakes, sausage and beverages for $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger at the door.

Presale tickets are available from Rotary members at $5 each.

Service will start at 11 a.m. Nov. 4 and continue through 7 p.m. at the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall on Elm Street.

The event has helped raise funds for charities, including the Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard, the Slippery Rock Community Library, the Slippery Rock Park, the volunteer fire department and Rotary programs that benefit youth.
