ERIE — U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-3rd, and his Democratic challenger Dan LaVallee will meet for a debate tonight.

The debate at 8 p.m. will be at the WQLN television studios.

WQLN will broadcast the hourlong debate live on its TV channel and its radio station. The station's coverage area is limited to the Erie market.

Residents outside the market will be able to stream the debate live on WQLN.org, and can watch a recording online after the debate is completed.

Kelly, 66, of Butler and LaVallee, 26, of Cranberry Township are vying for the 3rd Congressional District seat. Kelly has held the position for the past two terms.

The election is Tuesday.

GROVE CITY — The Grove City Police Department is cracking down on aggressive driving.The department will focus on aggressive driving on Route 58 and other roads in the borough until Nov. 22.This is part of a statewide initiative to reduce the number of aggressive driving related crashes. Aggressive driving includes speeding, running red lights, failure to stay on the right side of the road, and tailgating.Anyone stopped by police in the borough for aggressive driving will receive a ticket.

KARNS CITY — Veterans are encouraged to attend an assembly at Karns City High School to be recognized for their service in honor of Veterans Day.The program begins at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 10 in the auditorium, and will last for about 45 minutes.
