8:58 p.m. Wednesday — Charles Wilson, 40, of Canfield, Ohio, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident at the Days Inn on Route 8.

3:35 p.m. Friday — Randal S. Everett, 52, of Slippery Rock was charged with DUI following a crash at the Sheetz in Harrisville.Police said Everett backed his vehicle into another car in the parking lot, then drove back into the parking space and struck a light pole.8:04 a.m. Friday — A van driven by Richard C. Bixler Jr., 42, of Harrisville crashed along an icy bridge on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Police said Bixler's van slid on the road and struck a concrete barrier on the bridge. Bixler was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.He was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.10:30 p.m. Thursday — Randy L. Halstead Jr., 21, of West Sunbury is facing two felony counts after he allegedly stole a pickup truck from a man.Police said Halstead allegedly stole a 2002 Ford F-150 truck from the home of Abraham L. Smith, 82, of Center Township. Halstead eventually returned the truck to Smith's home on the 600-block of West Sunbury Road, police said.Halstead was arrested early Friday morning and taken to Butler County Prison, unable to post the $10,000 bail.He faces felony charges of receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking. He also was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended license.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday before District Judge Lewis Stoughton.4:37 a.m. Thursday — Tyler J. McIntosh, 29, of Slippery Rock was cited with criminal trespass after he was found on the PSC Metals property on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township.Police said McIntosh was highly intoxicated when he became lost and entered the property. He was wet from his head to his feet and was not wearing shoes when he entered the property. McIntosh yelled for help and alerted the security company that monitors the property.9:04 a.m. Oct. 29 — Colton J. Augustine, unknown age, of Butler was allegedly found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia outside the His Kids Christian School on Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township.Police said Augustine was arrested following a suspicious vehicle encounter.Charges are pending.12:30 p.m. Oct. 16 — Donald P. Dambaugh, unknown age, of Connoquenessing Township reported someone entered his home on Upper Harmony Road through an unlocked door and stole about $10,000 and a safe.

5 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by an unidentified woman struck a deer while traveling east on Interstate 80 in Richland Township, Clarion County.The driver was unable to avoid the deer, which hit the front left fender of her car.No injuries were listed on the police report, nor was the driver cited for a traffic violation.Nov. 5 — The J. Priest Co. of Slippery Rock Township was cited for having more than three false fire alarms in a 12-month period.
