Man with gun robs gas station this morning
BUTLER TWP — Township police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early this morning at the Get Go gas station, 1024 N. Main St. Ext.
Police said a white man, between 5-foot-9 and 6-feet tall, brandished a black handgun as he demanded money from the store’s cash register at 12:15 a.m.
The man was wearing a brown hooded Carhartt jacket, blue jeans and a black ski mask, according to a police report.
He stole an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen running toward Route 8.

A spokesman with Giant Eagle, which owns the gas station franchise, could not be reached for comment this morning.
