Lewis 60th anniversary

Clarence and Mary Ellen Lewis

Clarence and Mary Ellen Lewis of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a Mass and blessing in February at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Lewis married the former Mary Ellen Cornetti on Jan. 22, 1955, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.

They have five children Linda Brandenberg of Slippery Rock and Lisa (Marc) Conklin, Bradley (Cindy) Lewis, Lori (Scott) Altman and Scott (Jessica) Lewis, all of Butler.

They also have nine grandchildren, two step- grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lewis retired from Armco.

He is an usher at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, past chairman of the Bishop’s Project, past president of Knights and Nobles and past president of the South Butler Fire Association.

He enjoys hunting, golf and cards.

Mrs. Lewis retired from Duquesne University.

She is an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist and a member of the docent committee and Christian Mothers at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She also is a member of the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

She enjoys golf, bowling, playing cards and traveling.

The Lewises are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
