SLIPPERY ROCK — For the first time in 15 years, the Slippery Rock University men’s and women’s basketball teams are in the PSAC Tournament.

The No. 6 seed Rock women (11-15) travel to No. 3 seed Gannon (20-6) for a 2 p.m. tip-off Saturday. Gannon defeated SRU 69-48 and 72-50 during the regular season.

The No. 4 seed Rock men (19-9) host No. 5 seed Edinboro (14-12) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Morrow Field House. SRU defeated the Fighting Scots 69-65 and 75-64 in the regular season and is 12-1 at home this year.

Tickets for both games are $7 for adults, $2 for students. All students of PSAC schools will be admitted free with ID.

Karns City girls facing Redbank

CLARION — Karns City will face Redbank Valley for the District 9 Class AA girls basketball championship at 2 p.m. Saturday at Clarion University’s Tippin Gymnasium.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students. Tickets will only be available at the gate.
