AAU tryout

The Metro USA AAU basketball team will hold tryouts for girls in the ninth and 10th grades at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Butler Cubs Hall.

The team will be coached by Karns City girls assistant basketball coach Mike Hegedus.

Parents will receive information about Metro USA at the tryout.

Hoop tourney

NATRONA HEIGHTS — Openings remain for the North American Youth Sports youth basketball tournament March 27-29 at St. Joseph High School.

Boys and girls age brackets ranging from grades 5-6 through grades 11-12 are available. Entry fee is $110 per team with a minimum two games guaranteed.
