Mars’ McChesney opts for Kutztown

ADAMS TWP — Mars senior Shannon McChesney will continue her academnic, track and cross country career at Kutztown University.

McChesney placed seventh in the 3,200 meters at the WPIAL Track and Field Championships last season.

She is vice president of Student Council at Mars.

Butler’s Hartle 4th in PSBA tourney

HARRISBURG — Bill Hartle of the Butler County Bowling Association is fourth in the senior handicapped division of the Pennsylvania State Bowling Association Tournament.

Hartle has a 709 handicap score, 23 pins behind the leader.

The tournament runs each weekend into June.
