Artwork with the theme “Anything on Wheels!” will be displayed starting Friday at the Butler Art Center.

An open house is planned for noon to 9 p.m. June 12 during the Jeep Invasion. The Harmony Hot Haus band will play from 6 to 9 p.m.

The exhibit will continue through June 19. Admission is free. Regular hours at the center, 344 S. Main St., are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Classes

New art classes are about to begin at The Art Center.

Ben Bires will teach drawing for mature teens to adults from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays from June 3 to 24. Amanda Lynn is scheduled to teach a pet-themed painting class for age 12 to adult from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursdays June 4 to 25. Cost is $60.

Summer camps for ages 6 to 10 are being scheduled for July 20 to 23, July 27 to 30, Aug. 3 to 6 and Aug. 10 to 13. Hours will be 9 a.m. to noon. There will be a common theme each week but a different teacher of a different medium each day of the week. A snack will be served.
