Seneca Valley’s boys volleyball team opened the PIAA Class AAA playoffs with a dominating sweep of City League champion Carrick at Taylor Allderdice High School on Wednesday.

The Raiders (16-2) won by scores of 25-5, 25-13 and 25-6. No other details were available.

Seneca will face District 3 champion and defending state champion Central York in the quarterfinals Saturday at a site and time to be determined.
