11:03 a.m. Thursday — No one was injured when a pickup truck and cement mixer collided at Pillow Street and Bantam Avenue. The collision sent a cap from the pickup into another vehicle.Charles R. Reamer Jr., 55, of Butler was driving the pickup eastbound on Pillow Street when he traveled through the intersection as David F. Peterson, 39, of Kittanning, who was driving the mixer north on Bantam Avenue, was making a left turn.The impact caused a cap on the pickup bed to come off and fly into a car stopped at the intersection. Earl J. Steighner, 62, of Summit Township was driving the car.Wednesday — Police charged Rikki Lee Double, 31, of Butler with breaking into a Second Street apartment June 22 and stealing a white T-shirt and $25. She is charged with burglary and theft.When police charged Double, she was already in the Butler County Prison on unrelated charges in another break-in last month. In that previous case, she is accused of entering a Wood Street home in Butler on June 15 and stealing jewelry.Police suspect Double later sold five stolen rings to a gold store in Cranberry Township. She is charged with burglary and theft. Double remains in the prison on $10,000 bail.11:07 a.m. Tuesday — Taylor L. Davidson, 21, of Center Township and Allyshia M. Shaffer, 26, of Butler were caught with suspected drugs after police were called to Broad Street for a report of two women shooting up drugs in a vehicle.Officers spotted a spoon as they took Davidson out of the car. They also noticed a syringe in her purse that was in the center console. A subsequent search of the purse, documents said, turned up two syringes, nine empty stamp bags of suspected heroin and 11 prescription pills contained in a small baggie.When Shaffer was taken from the vehicle, police said they found a loaded syringe on her seat and a spoon between the seat and door. Officers searched her and found one stamp bag and one empty bag of suspected heroin in her sweat shirt pockets.Davidson and Shaffer are both charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.9 a.m. Monday — Kevin C. Gibson, 48, of Butler allegedly made off with a woman's wallet that she inadvertently left behind at Friedman's supermarket on West Brady Street.The woman told police that she had forgotten the wallet in a shopping cart. When she returned to get it, the wallet, which contained $40, was gone.The store's surveillance video system helped identify the suspect who took it. Gibson used to work at the same Friedman's store, court documents said.He is charged with theft of lost or mislaid property.

12:30 p.m. June 10 — Donald J. Huff, 36, of Grove City was charged with indecent exposure, open lewdness, disorderly conduct and several vehicle code violations after he allegedly exposed himself inside the Anchor's Away store on Route 62 in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County.
