A Birthday Tribute to Delores Cunningham Scroggins - the best Mother in the world!

I was privileged for 52 years to have you as my mother.

You were always caring and giving to others even when it wasn’t totally accepted.

You never wavered from you hearts’ desire.

Dad’s last request was that you were taken care of.

I thought we could easily take care of that, but fell short of what you needed.

The Lord knew best and sent Bud Scroggins for you and for all of us.

Bud had a special part in your last 14 years, a part that your kids could never have accomplished.

Even after Bud came into your life, you never gave up on your hearts desire for your kids and grandkids to do more and be better for the Lord. You never missed a surgery, ballgame or wedding and always reminded us of that.

I have so many things to give you direct credit for but probably the most life changing was how you cared for and reached out to others.

Thank you very much, Mom.

Sadly missed by your family and always in our hearts.
