Body found in Clinton Twp.
CLINTON TWP — A body was found around 3 p.m. Thursday in a field off Route 228 East near Saxonburg Boulevard, according to state police.
State police said a woman horseback riding on her property found the body of a man, whose name was not released so his next of kin could be notified first. The body was found between a corn field and alfalfa field.
State police said foul play is not suspected in the death of the man, who was 28, and there was no drug paraphernalia found on or around him.
Deputy coroner John Hanovick said the cause of death is undetermined pending a toxicology report.
The man was found with no identification, and he was identified by his tattoos. An autopsy was performed Thursday night.
State police said the man had recently been released from Butler County Prison, but as of Thursday, they were not certain of the reason he was incarcerated.
