[naviga:h3]GC YMCA hosts craft show[/naviga:h3]

GROVE CITY — The Winter Wonderland Craft and Vendor Show will be from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 19 at the Grove City YMCA Program Arena, 543 E. Main St. Extension.

The show will include more than 40 crafters and vendors and feature a 50/50 raffle, concessions and a basket auction.

Admission is free. All proceeds will benefit Grove City YMCA youth programs.

[naviga:h3]Gingerbread contest set[/naviga:h3]

The Evans City, Slippery Rock and Prospect libraries will sponsor a gingerbread house contest.

Individuals or families can deliver their homemade gingerbread houses and the entry fee to the library of their choice Nov. 28.

Library visitors will vote on the houses during normal library hours from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2.

Visitors who vote at all three libraries will be entered to win a $50 gift card for a local store. At each library, the creators of the gingerbread house with the most votes will win a $25 gift card.

Each library will host an event Dec. 2.

[naviga:h3]Soroptimists slate January raffle[/naviga:h3]

Soroptimist International of Butler County will have a month-long raffle in January.

The raffle will include prizes awarded each day during the month. Winners will be determined by the state lottery’s evening three-digit daily number.

Proceeds from the event will benefit disadvantaged women and also other community projects.

[naviga:h3]Event funds Christmas gifts for troops [/naviga:h3]

EAST BRADY — Hero’s Angels will host a fundraiser to “Fill Santa’s Sack for Soldiers” from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Sugarcreek Township Fire Hall, 110 Rodgers Road.

The event, an idea from Ronni Radaker, 8, will help Hero’s Angels send Christmas presents to deployed soldiers.

The fundraiser will include a basket auction, 50/50 raffle, bake sale and apparel sale.
