Pickup truck with plow catches fire in Center
No one was injured this morning when a pickup truck equipped with a snow plow caught fire in Center Township.
The Unionville Volunteer Fire Department was called out about 5:25 a.m. for the fire on Sunset Drive near the Future POS business.
“It was pretty much fully involved (in fire),” Nathan Wulff, Unionville VFD chief, said of the truck.
The driver was out of the vehicle when crews got there. Firefighters used compressed air foam to extinguish the blaze within minutes of arriving.
The vehicle, a late 1990s or early 2000s model, appeared to be totaled.
