Driver injured in rollover crash

One man was injured after his pickup truck rolled about 50 yards in a one-vehicle crash around 8:51 p.m. Wednesday night on Howes Run Road in Sarver.

BUFFALO TWP — A pickup truck rolled over about 50 yards and was extensively damaged before coming to a stop in a one-vehicle crash around 8:51 p.m. Friday on Howes Run Road in Sarver.

Capt. Tyler Hill of Sarver Volunteer Fire Department said emergency crews arrived to find one male patient who was driving the truck.

Hill said the call into 911 said the man was ejected from the vehicle, but he could not confirm whether the driver was actually ejected.

“The patient was out and walking around on the scene when we arrived,” he said.

Hill said the man appeared to have minor injuries, and he was taken to a nearby hospital by Freeport Ambulance.

“We had initially put LifeFlight on standby but canceled them,” he said.

The trucked sustained notable damage all around the vehicle from the multiple times that it rolled, according to Hill.

Buffalo Township police and fire departments assisted on the scene.
