1:24 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Douglena Spencer, 67, of 144 Gibson Road struck a car owned by Courtney Sparlino of New Castle, parked on South Main Street.11:02 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by Florence Stakor, 74, of 126 W. Penn St. struck a car, owned by Evelyn Harley of Harmony, on North Monroe Street.Sunday - Several vehicles were vandalized overnight while parked on West Penn Street. The vehicle sustained broken side mirrors and body damage. One car's antenna was broken and another's rear spoiler was damaged.10:23 p.m. Friday - Timothy Cicco, 40, of 427 W. North St., Apt. 25 was arrested for allegedly assaulting his 32-year-old girlfriend at the couple's home. Cicco was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.March 17 - Keith Pack, 26, of 143 Fourth Ave., Apt. 1 allegedly stole a coin bank containing between $15 and $30 from a Madison Avenue home. Pack was later arraigned on charges of theft and receiving stolen property, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.

3 a.m. Saturday - Richard John Harris IV, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street in Butler.Saturday - A 27-inch Sony television was taken in a burglary at the Sutton Lane home of Donna Wagner in Clay Township. The burglary occurred between March 13 and Saturday.Saturday - A stereo, amplifier and several compact discs were taken between 11 p.m. Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday from a vehicle on Nursery Lane in Jefferson Township. Alexander Kovacs of Sarver owns the stolen property, valued at $800.10:50 p.m. Friday - Christopher Helveston, 26, of North Versailles, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 356 in Summit Township.3:10 p.m. Friday - A truck driven by Richard Burchfield, 63, of Oil City, Venango County, struck the rear of a car driven by John Pears, 58, of Jackson Center, Mercer County, at Route 8 and Benbrook Road in Center Township. The collision pushed the car into the rear of a pickup truck driven by Jeff Ball, 37, of Butler.Friday - Two air compressors and a generator were taken between Wednesday and Friday in a burglary at the Route 19 home of Ruby McNichol in Muddy Creek Township.Tuesday - A tractor-trailer driven by Jason Pritts, 26, of Boswell, Somerset County, struck the rear of a car on Route 38 in Summit Township. Stacy Roble, 38, of Butler, who was driving the car and wearing a seatbelt, was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Pritts was cited for following too close to another vehicle.
