3:38 p.m. Tuesday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Christina Ferguson, 55, of Merritt Island, Fla., and a pickup truck driven by Patrick Haney, 41, of Pittsburgh collided at North Main and Penn streets. Ferguson, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken with minor injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.

Thursday - Leigh Fulmer reported that 238 compact discs and a JVC CD player were taken from a vehicle at her Coaltown Road home in Cherry Township. The theft occurred between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8:20 a.m. Thursday.11:52 p.m. Wednesday - John Foust, 48, of Volant, Lawrence County, was charged with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Route 44 in Muddy Creek Township.4:45 p.m. Wednesday - Cars driven by Shirley Howard, 39, of Eau Claire and Renee Simons, 37, of Emlenton crashed on Route 38 in Cherry Valley. Police said Simons' car traveled off the road, struck an embankment and went airborne. Simons, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.Wednesday - Two weed trimmers, a push lawnmower and hand tools were taken between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in a burglary at the Summit Township Sportsman's Club on Herman Road. The property is valued at about $700.

8 p.m. Wednesday - Joseph Sperber, 21, of Leechburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his pickup truck struck a stone retaining wall along Route 3128 in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.Crystal Flick, 26, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, a passenger in the pickup, suffered moderate injuries. Tiffany Sperber, 22, of Leechburg, another passenger, suffered minor injuries. Neither passenger was wearing a seatbelt.
