In Brief
PITTSBURGH - Rookie draft picks Matt Kranchick and Drew Caylor agreed to three-year deals with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday.
Kranchick, a tight end, and Caylor, a center/long snapper, were both sixth-round draft picks.
Kranchick was the second of the team's three sixth-round draft picks. He graduated from Penn State 16 months ago after only 31/2 years in school. For Penn State, he caught 24 passes in 23 games for 14.7 yards per catch average and a touchdown.
Caylor spent three seasons at Stanford as a defensive lineman before moving to offense as a senior. He split time between center and offensive tackle the first four games last season before becoming the starting center for the final seven games. He was also the team's long snapper for three seasons.
