Wednesday - An unidentified vehicle struck a car parked in an alley between East Locust and East Brady streets and did not stop. Thomas Goeppner Sr. of East Brady Street owns the car.3:50 p.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Craig Leech, 37, of 159 N. Elm St. struck the rear of a car driven by Laura Ankrom, 17, of Butler Township on Hansen Avenue. Leech was cited for careless driving.

11:30 a.m. Tuesday - Two women were injured when their car crashed on Whitestown Road near Fairground Hill Road.The crash occurred when the eastbound car, driven by Margaret Fiel, 80, of Mars crossed the westbound lane, traveled up a 25-foot embankment and struck several trees.Fiel was treated for injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital and released. June Sauers, 78, of Cranberry Township, a passenger in the car, was taken to Butler Memorial before being flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Sauers' condition was not known this morning.

6:50 p.m. Wednesday - A pickup truck driven by Christy Albright, 21, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Joyce Carr, 71, of Center Township collided on Route 8 at the Clearview Mall in Center Township.1:22 p.m. Wednesday - A van driven by Aaron Arnold, 21, and a car driven by Sally Tarhi, 44, both of Butler, collided on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township. Arnold, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Alica Velez, 3, of Butler, a passenger in a child seat in the van, also suffered minor injuries.

1 a.m. Wednesday - Angela Burk, 21, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence on Tower Road in Springfield Township, Mercer County.
