Michael and Patti Selfridge of Butler recently celebrated 30 years of marriage with a family dinner.

The former Patti Bowen married Selfridge on July 5, 1974, at Thorn Creek United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have two children, Stephen Selfridge and Sarah Selfridge, both of Butler.

They also have two grandchildren.

Selfridge retired from the Air Force in 1993 after 20 years of service. He is employed in the audiology department at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center and is a member of the American Legion Post 117.

Mrs. Selfridge works in the customer service circulation department at the Butler Eagle. She is a member of the women's auxiliary of the American Legion Post 117.

The couple attends Thorn Creek United Methodist Church.
