PITTSBURGH - Forwards Ramzi Abid, Kris Beech and Shane Endicott and defenseman Ross Lupaschuk agreed to terms with the Pittsburgh Penguins Tuesday.
Abid, 24, appeared in 16 games in the Penguins last year. He had five points, but missed the final 57 games of the season after suffering a knee injury Dec. 6. He has appeared in 49 games with Phoenix and the Penguins.
Beech appeared in four games with the Penguins last year. The 23-year-old appeared in 53 games with Pittsburgh's AHL affiliate in Wilkes Barre/Scranton, recording 45 points. He has played a total of 99 NHL games with the Capitals and the Penguins.
Endicott, 22, and Lupaschuk, 23, also played with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Brian Stoecklein had a home run, a double and a single, drove home two runs and scored five more in the Washington Wild Things' 16-1 romp over Richmond Monday.Stoecklein, a graduate of Seneca Valley, missed the chance to hit for the cycle when he walked in the eighth inning.The Wild Things swept Richmond in the four-game series and improved to 43-23, opening a 4½ game lead over Kalamazoo and Evansville in the East Division.
