Egley wins school bus race
Bob Egley of Kittanning took the lead on the sixth lap and held it the rest of the way to win the 15-lap school bus racing feature Saturday night at Lernerville Speedway.
Terry Faas of Creighton won the 15-lap Senior Series feature, leading the event from start to finish. Dan Bauman of Saxonburg was second.
Rose Spithaler of Evans City won the Powder Puff school bus race, taking the lead from Kim Carpino on the seventh lap.
Lernerville ends its 2004 racing season Sept. 25 with its Autumn-Motive Fest, featuring Pure Stock Pandemonium, bus races and a demolition derby.
