Marjorie J. Burtner, 74, of Rochester, N.Y., died Monday.

Born Feb. 13, 1930, in Butler, she was the daughter of Leon and Lillian Christie.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wendell Burtner; five children, Robert and Kevin Burtner, Sharon Montgomery, Patricia Collins and Barbara Tuccio; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

BURTNER - Friends of Marjorie J. Burtner, who died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at LEO M. BEAN AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 2771 Chili Ave., Rochester, N.Y. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Gates Presbyterian Church, 1049 Wegman Road, Rochester. Burial will be at Grove Place Cemetery, Rochester.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gates Presbyterian Church.
