June Kovach, 85, of Indiana, Indiana County, died Friday at her home.

Born June 13, 1919 in Indiana, she was the daughter of Sherman and Carrie Wires Shank.

A homemaker and lifelong resident of Indiana, she was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church and the VFW Post 1989 Auxiliary, both in Indiana.

She is survived by two daughters, Joan Cowoski of Butler and Judy Moreau of DeBary, Fla., a son, Joseph Kovach of Aultman; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers and a sister-in-law.

KOVACH - Visitation for friends of June Kovach, who died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, was held Monday at the BENCE-MIHALCIK FUNERAL HOME in Indiana. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church.
