Nicholas D. Varrenti, 16, of Mars, died suddenly Monday morning.

Born March 14, 1988, he was the beloved son of Darla and Nick Varrenti.

He was the beloved brother of Megan, Gabriel and Kaitlin. He was also the grandson of Marcella Gabriel Varrenti and the late Nicholas J. Varrenti, and Janice and Dwain Mahan of Seattle, Wash.

He is survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Nick was a proud member of the Mars Fightin' Planets football team.

VARRENTI - Friends of Nicholas D. Varrenti, who died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Mars.Memorials may be made to the Mars Quarterback Club.
