Butler County Symphony Orchestra, in its 56th season, will get a "Noble Start" with its season-opening concert at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Violinist Tomislav Dimov, also the symphony's concertmaster, will be featured.
Elisabeth Heath-Charles is the conductor and music director.
Tickets in advance are $15 for adults and $8 for students. Tickets at the door will be $18 for adults and $9 for students. Seats are reserved.

The show will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22, at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 23, and at 2 p.m. Oct. 24 at Butler Intermediate High School.A contest to choose the best handmade Oz costumes from among audience members is planned for 3 p.m. Oct. 23 before the performance. LEECHBURG - The Freeport Theatre Festival will present an "Autumn Sonata," conceived and directed by Louise Russell, writer and director of FTFs musical review "A Vertical Stack of Harmony."It's anoriginal event of music, poetry, pumpkin pie and hot apple cider, will take place at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 6784 White Cloud Road, near Allegheny Presbyterian Church.An original musical score, inspired by Russell's concept and script and composed by Tommy Nehls, will highlight of the evening.Tickets may be purchased at the door for $10, which includes pumpkin pie and cider. PITTSBURGH- The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium in Highland Park will host "Zoo Boo" activities from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday and Oct. 22 to 24. Admission gates close at 8 p.m.Admission to Zoo Boo is $5 for non-members and $3 for members. Children younger than 2 are admitted free. Parking is also free.The zoo is open regularly from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
