10:58 p.m. Wednesday - Robert Browne, 45, of 124 Lorenz St. was arrested for driving under the influence after his car struck a boat on a trailer parked in front of the St. Paul Street home of Carolyn Ealy.Police said Browne, who was also cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property, did not stop following the crash.

2:15 a.m. today - Brent Morrow, 43, of 1038 Mahood Road, West Sunbury, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Chicora.7:40 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Terran Smith, 22, of Slippery Rock struck a deer on Route 8 near Kiester Road in Slippery Rock Township.2:35 a.m. Sunday - Lori Eakin 43, of 776 Herman Road was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.Sunday - Nineteen lawn statues were taken from an unidentified business on New Castle Road in Franklin Township. The theft occurred between 6 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.5:33 p.m. Saturday - A pickup truck driven by Jason Frederick, 20, of Slippery Rock and a car driven by Andrew Thompson collided at Mercer and North Duffy roads in Center Township.Frederick and Pamela Maharg, 45, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in the pickup, suffered unknown injuries in the crash. They were both wearing a seat belt.Frederick was cited for a stop sign violation.6:55 a.m. Saturday - Renee Leitem, 36, of Butler swerved her car to avoid a deer on Marburger Road in Forward Township and struck a utility pole and two mailboxes.Saturday - Someone between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday broke the rear door of a storage shed at the Church of God of Prophecy on McKee Road in Allegheny Township.10:10 p.m. Friday - A car driven by Chad Neff, 17, of Summit Township struck a concrete curb in the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township, became airborne and traveled over a concrete traffic island.3:39 p.m. Friday - Cars driven by Heather Duncan, 20, of New Castle and Richard Goetz Jr., 18, of Slippery Rock collided at Route 108 and Barron Road in Worth Township. Duncan, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.7:40 a.m. Friday - A car driven by Ann Hase, 20, of Fombell, Beaver County, skidded off rain-soaked Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township and struck a guardrail.7:38 a.m. Friday - A pickup truck driven by Mark Morrissey, 19, of Cranberry Township struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township, crossed over the highway and collided with a car driven by Chi-Yeung Poon, 25, of Erie. Morrissey was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Oct. 6 - Someone between 7:30 a.m. Oct. 5 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 6 set fire to a car that earlier broke down on Flinner Road in Muddy Creek Township. Thomas Smolka of Zelienople owns the car.

9:28 a.m. Sunday - Two teenagers from Erie and Philadelphia escaped from the George Junior Republic juvenile detention facility in Pine Township, Mercer County.1:45 a.m. Saturday - Brian Robinson, 32, of Grove City was cited for criminal mischief after allegedly punching and shattering a window of a sport utility vehicle at the Landmark Bar in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Brenton Billig of Grove City owns the SUV.
