Alexander Ewanski Jr., 63, of Slippery Rock and formerly of Beaver Falls died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Oakland.

Born Oct. 7, 1940, in Beaver Falls, Beaver County, he was a son of the late Alexander Sr. and Kathryn J. Grabowski Ewanski.

Mr. Ewanski was employed as a clerk at Babcock and Wilcox Tubular Products Co. before his retirement and was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Class of 1958.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a former member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Beaver Falls.

He is survived by a brother, Robert Ewanski of Westfield, N.Y.; a sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Richard Fink of Brighton Township; two nephews, Adam and Lance Fink, both of Brighton Township; and two very close and dear friends, Chuck Eury of Youngstown and Vera Ansani of Butler.

Alex's wishes were to be cremated. There will be no public visitation.

Private burial will be in the Veterans Circle of the Beaver Falls Cemetery and Memorial Park, Chippewa Township.

Arrangements are being made by the, 3801 Fourth Ave., Beaver Falls.
